Our Story
Leadwood Safari Company is owned and run by husband and wife team Jonathan and Anna Klynhans. Jonathan has always had a passion for the African bush and Anna, who was born in Colorado, USA, has come to experience and share the same passion.
The company was started with the vision of providing one-of-a-kind glamping safari experiences across multiple exclusive destinations in South Africa. The goal of our camps has always been to limit the barriers between us and the environment, allowing your senses to be immersed by all the sights, smells and sounds of the wilderness.
Our Philosophy
Conservation
Conservation is very important to us and at the core of everything we do. From our use of solar-powered lights, wood-fired water heaters to promoting sustainable firewood practices, we choose to tread lightly on the planet.
We feel fortunate that our camp can serve as a platform to remind guests about the importance of conserving and protecting our environment and its wildlife.
The Leadwood Safari Camp is the first chapter of our journey.
